Yorkville University is pleased to provide financial assistance to all qualified students in the form of scholarships and bursaries.
The following are some of the key financial assistance opportunities at Yorkville University:
ON CAMPUS BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION TUITION BURSARIES
All new BBA students who are Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents can apply for a 45% tuition bursary towards BBA courses completed on campus in Vancouver, or a 35% tuition bursary towards BBA courses completed on campus in Toronto. One applicant will be awarded the Working Adults Tuition Bursary which covers 100% of their program’s tuition.
The Working Adults Tuition Bursary is part of Yorkville University’s efforts to assist people achieve their professional goals without compromising work or personal commitments. Students can study while they work with flexible course schedules and evening classes, and graduate in as few as 2.5 years.
Canadian Forces Bursary
Yorkville University offers a 25% tuition bursary to anyone who is currently serving or has served for more than 2 years in the Canadian Forces. Anyone currently employed by Military Family Resource Centers is eligible for a 15% tuition bursary. Children and spouses of all those eligible (listed above) are eligible for a 15% tuition bursary.
* These bursaries, like all bursaries, cannot be received in conjunction with any other bursaries offered by Yorkville University.
** While common-law relationships and step-parenting relationships will be honoured, proof of spousal relationship will be required. Proof of family connections will be required for all recipients.
*** Proof of active service or history of service is required.
NEW BRUNSWICK PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES
This scholarship benefits current employees of the New Brunswick Department of Education, the New Brunswick Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour and the New Brunswick Department of Family and Community Services to receive a thirty percent tuition-reduction/bursary when enrolled in Yorkville University’s Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) program or Master of Education in Adult Education (Med).
JACOB MARKOVITZ MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
This is a need-based scholarship that is available to new students entering their first trimester of study in a graduate program at Yorkville University.
*UNITED STATES MEXICO CANADA AGREEMENT (USMCA) BURSARY
In honour of the United States Mexico Canada Agreement (USMCA), international students showing proof of US or Mexican citizenship will not be charged the international tuition fee. These students will pay the domestic tuition rate for Yorkville University programs.
**An academic year for International students consists of 3 full terms.
